Outlook 2010 – The Social Connecto...

There are a lot of cool improvements to Outlook 2010, but by far my most favorite enhancement yet is the Outlook Social Connector.  The entire tool was built out of SharePoint 2010, but unless you are a Microsoft geek like me you probably don’t give a hoot.  The cool part about Social Connector is that it allows you not only to quickly see previous emails, attachments and meetings with the person you are sending an email to or receiving one from, but it also allows you to see that person’s updates on Facebook and LinkedIn. I won’t steal too much thunder from the article, but it is a true testament as to how a small group of people can have a major impact on society. Although some may not think that a software program such as Excel has any bearing on their day to day lives, they could not be more wrong. Excel is a...

I Excel @ Excel

Although certified experts, Microsoft Office freaks, sales guys and Bill Gates would tell you otherwise you can use Excel® for almost anything. Even I would not recommend it because you will not be as effective or efficient but if it is all you have use it!  Excel® will not really be able to pick up the slack for PowerPoint® and Word® but as far as the other apps go it can be a decent substitute. Here is a snippet from Microsoft online’s overview of Excel® “Microsoft Office Excel 2007 is a powerful tool you can use to create and format spreadsheets, and...
